What Sness.io is

Sness.io connects to your WhatsApp as a "linked device", the same way WhatsApp on a computer does. It keeps the text of your messages so the assistant you choose can summarise them and suggest replies. It only sends a reply when you approve it.

What we keep

The words of your messages, captions and file names, who sent them and when, and chat and contact names. Your first name. If you connect by typing a code, your phone number until you leave. We never keep photos, videos, voice notes or documents themselves.

For how long

For the time you choose in Settings: 90 days unless you change it, up to one year. After that each message is deleted automatically.

Data retention

Sness.io may retain certain account, message, and service-related data for up to 90 days after it is no longer required for the active service, including where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, backup recovery, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Some information may be retained longer where required by law.

AI processing by Google Gemini

When you use Sness.io's AI assistant, message text and related context may be transmitted to Google's Gemini service for processing so that Sness.io can generate summaries, suggested replies, and other AI-assisted features. Google acts as a third-party service provider in connection with this processing.

Who can see it

Anyone holding your key, so keep it to yourself. The people running Sness.io can look at the database to fix problems and will tell you if that happens. An assistant you connect, such as ChatGPT or Muse, sees your messages under its own terms.

Leaving

Delete your account and every stored message is removed and your phone is disconnected. You can also remove the device yourself inside WhatsApp under Linked devices.

How Sness.io connects

Sness.io links to your WhatsApp the same way WhatsApp Web does, as a linked device. It has the same access WhatsApp Web has, nothing more. Your number, your chats and your phone stay exactly as they are, and you can remove Sness.io any time under Linked devices.

One thing to know: Sness.io is not made by WhatsApp, and WhatsApp does not officially support outside apps linking this way. If WhatsApp objects, it can disconnect Sness.io or limit the account. Sness.io only reads, never messages anyone on its own, and sends only replies you approve.

Your responsibility

Before signing up you confirm that you have checked WhatsApp's own terms of service and that you choose to link your own account to Sness.io. That choice, and how you use your WhatsApp account, are your responsibility. Sness.io records the date you agreed and the version of these terms.

Early access

Sness.io is new. It may stop working or change. During early access it is free and comes with no guarantee.
